Luxurious Lodges Our lodges have been furnished to a high standard, offering everything a family needs for a luxury, self-catering holiday. Your accommodation requirements will be discussed with you at the time of reservation and whilst the lodges are allocated to facilitate the needs of each family, we will endeavour to place you in the lodge of your choosing. All of the lodges offer the same general accommodation in terms of size and facilities but we have given each one its own furnishing, colour scheme and identity and provided some variations on sleeping arrangements to suit the needs of different sized families or groups. Each lodge is supplied with a huge selection of adult and children’s books along with a number of games. A TV and DVD player are available if required, although the lodges are not automatically furnished with them as we find many guests welcome the opportunity to spend time with their families without the distraction of television. A micro-wave oven is also available on request and cots and baby equipment are available for a supplement if required. The ground floor The ground floor of each lodge offers a luxury, fully-fitted kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchens are equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob and all necessary cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery. The dining areas are furnished with a table and chairs to accommodate six to eight people and the lounge areas offer comfortable, leather seating. French windows lead out from the lounge area onto a private, covered terrace. This is furnished with a barbeque and table and chairs for outside dining on the long, warm evenings that we are fortunate to enjoy for much of the year. The terrace extends further to provide an area in the sunshine. The first floor The first floor of each lodge offers two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and a bathroom fitted with shower, WC and wash basin. The main bedroom and landing leads onto an open terrace with cast iron table and chairs overlooking stunning views of the Pyrenees and Canigou. The second bedroom offers slightly different options in each lodge. The second floor The second floor of each lodge offers a third double bedroom with fitted wardrobes plus a further single sofa bed. French windows lead from this room onto a private terrace with recliners overlooking Les Alberes Mountains. The second bathroom fitted with bath, shower, W.C. and wash basin makes this floor an ideal self-contained mini-suite providing extra privacy if required. Carignan Located closest to the parking area, Carignan is the ideal lodge for two families with up to five children between them. The lounge and dining area are furnished in brown leather and solid oak, with a dining table that can seat up to nine. The second bedroom on the first floor is furnished with two pairs of bunk beds to accommodate four children. The mini-suite on the second floor provides a further single sofa bed for a child to sleep alongside their parents. Grenache Grenache is situated next to Carignan, its bright cheerful soft furnishings with leather sofas, oak tables and seating with colour-coordinated accessories ensure that your mood is lifted as soon as you enter the lodge. The second bedroom on the first floor of Grenache is furnished with two single beds. Macabeu Macabeu is located directly opposite the swimming pool. Its attractive blue décor with leather sofas, oak tables and seating make it a very comfortable and pleasant environment all year round. The second bedroom on the first floor of Macabeu is furnished with a bunk bed and can accommodate a single bed as well if required. Rousanne Rousanne is luxuriously furnished with brown sofas, solid oak tables and seating and has a selection of stunning art by a well known local artist. The second bedroom on the first floor can be a second double or twin bedroom according to the needs of the guest. Syrah When we decorated Syrah, we took a different approach by furnishing it with luxurious cream leather sofas, glass tables and wrought iron cushioned chairs which lend it a calm, cool atmosphere that many of our guests value. The second bedroom on the first floor of Syrah can be furnished as a double or a twin room as required.
